190. Recommendations of the Commission on Revenue Allocation
(1) At least six months before the beginning of the financial year, or at a later
date agreed between the Cabinet Secretary and the Commission on Revenue
Allocation, the Commission shall submit to the Senate, the National Assembly,
the County Assembly, the National Executive and the County Executives,
recommendations for the following financial year regarding—
(a) an equitable division of revenue raised nationally, among the national
and county levels of government; and
(b) the determination of each county’s equitable share in the county share
of that revenue.

(1) Each year when the Budget Policy Statement is introduced, the Cabinet

Act for the financial year to which that Budget relates.
